About
Ezra Lemarpe is a non-profit medical support organization founded by Rabbi Firer in 1979. It handles thousands of emergency calls and has become Israel’s leading medical referral expert. Rabbi Firer’s up to date knowledge in many areas of medicine has led him to develop a data bank on the world’s top medical specialists. People come to the Rabbi, not only for help in medical diagnosis, but for advice where to best be treated and by which doctor.
Rabbi Firer’s vast knowledge and care for any human being, no matter race or religion, has also led him to develop desperately needed services for the sick all over Israel. All these services are provided free of charge.

Rehabilitation Centers: Yad Sara’s Rehabilitation Center is designed to provide people with physical disabilities that have rehabilitation potential, a unique, supportive and warm environment with a range of professional treatments, in order to quickly rehabilitate them and return them to maximum independence.
Call Center: The emergency call center service allows people in need of supervision to continue an independent life at home, with a sense of security and peace of mind, knowing that in case of emergency the subscriber can simply press the distress button next to him, and receive appropriate help quickly and efficiently.
The emergency call center is staffed 24/7 by volunteers who have undergone extensive professional training and speak several languages. The staff is imbued with the value of giving and provides personal attention and compassionate service to every subscriber.
Yad Sarah Vans: The volunteers in this division, including service people, drivers, receptionists, coordinators, security officers, and others are determined to help people with disabilities find freedom outside their homes. These unique vans may be used for any purpose: Medical treatments or family events, a night on the town, or a quick trip to the seaside.
Medical Services at Home: Volunteers in the Yad Sarah Home Hospital Department are determined to prevent the ills of public health: Contagion and infections, as well as mental exhaustion and a lack of motivation for recovery. Yad Sarah provides a comprehensive program for rehabilitation at home for the patient. Supported by loving family members and in familiar surroundings, the patient experiences fewer complications and a more rapid and effective medical response.
Yad Sarah offers acute hospitalization as a quality alternative to hospital treatment. In accordance with the doctor’s recommendation, patients are sent to home hospitalization under the auspices of Yad Sarah. Yad Sarah’s specialist doctors closely monitor the progress of recovery, and the nursing staff provides the care at home. Patients who preferred Yad Sarah’s home hospital recovered in much shorter periods of time than they would have in the hospital.

About
At VeHadarta, we view older adults as an asset to society, and believe that they belong in the center of the action – socially, economically or culturally. As studies support the notion that Ageism (age-based discrimination) hinders socio-economic growth on a national scale, we have made it our goal to reframe the issue of older adulthood in Israel by:
Our flagship program, the “Experience Required” initiative, has been revolutionizing older adults’ employment in Israel. It is comprised of an online platform facilitating direct connection between older-adult jobseekers and employers, while providing both parties with a comprehensive envelope of services geared towards making each placement successful, sustainable and impactful.
We are currently striving to expand the scope of our influence beyond the workforce. Our core belief is that every older adult has the right to live in dignity and to share their considerable wisdom and experience.
