The senior citizen card (Kartis Ezrach Vatik in Hebrew) is an identification card for Israeli senior citizens. Seniors can receive discounts at a number of place sin Israel, including movie theaters and national parks. It also might be useful when traveling abroad to identify you as a senior citizen.
How do I get my Israeli Senior Citizen Card?
If you are an Israeli citizen, you will receive a card by mail upon reaching retirement age (women 62 and men 67). It is sent to the address on your Teudat Zehut, so make sure that your address is correct and current.
If it does not arrive, or if you need to replace it or change details on it, you can apply using the Senior Citizen app on your phone, apply online at: https://form.mse.gov.il/seniorcard/ or by calling *8840 (between 8:00 – 16:00).
